Blockbuster OnDemand Service comes to TiVo Posted: 25 Mar 2009 03:08 AM PDT In an effort to stay relevant, Blockbuster has teamed up with TiVo to bring you its OnDemand Service  so you can rent or buy movies on your favorite DVR. The extensive library will be available on all Tivo Series 2, Tivo HD, HD XL, and Tivo Series 3 DVRs. You will need a broadband-connected TiVo DVR to download movies though. Release date and pricing is not clear, but you can sign up for the TiVo mailing list to stay on top of this upcoming service. TiVo makes deal with Blockbuster

Betty Book adorns Samsung slider Posted: 25 Mar 2009 02:17 AM PDT I know there are a lot of Betty Boop fans out there, so it was about time someone put the animated pinup girl on a phone of her own. Samsung will release this Betty Boop slider in France via Bouygues Telecon as a limited edition phone according to Ubergizmo, which will include BB’s face and signature on the front and back of the device. This handset has an integrated FM radio, VGA camera, microSD card slot, GSM, and you can get it for 129 Euros in France or 1 Euro with a 2-year contract.

The free concert was part of the Verizon VIP Tour held just for Verizon customers. This exclusive tour will continue until April and will  be making stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia.
