Gabrielle Union loves her Blackberry Storm

Posted: 06 Feb 2009 07:10 PM PST

We caught up with the talented Gabrielle Union at the Blackberry Storm Party in San Francisco where the bar was serving up Ultimat Storm cocktails,  the crowd was grooving to music, and a few others gleefully posed for the cameras in the Storm Green room.  Gabrielle told us she just traded her LG Dare for a Blackberry Storm recently and finds it very easy  to use. Check out our interview and pics below and find out how to do the “stanky legg.”

Playboy camera phone brings some bling

Posted: 06 Feb 2009 09:30 AM PST

playbpyphone

If you’re a huge fan of the Playboy bunny, then perhaps you might find the Playboy phone to be just the thing the doctor ordered. While it won’t win any awards for being the most functional cell phone to date, it certainly has that classy look to it, being a slim unlocked GSM handset that comes with a metal finish in pink, gold or platinum complete with an etched-in PlayBoy design. Each purchase will also be accompanied by a stereo headset with remote control, a Playboy bunny charm and a leather pouch for you to tote it in style. How much is the asking price for this potential Valentine’s Day present? $299 a pop.

Samsung SPH-W7100 phone has safety features

Posted: 06 Feb 2009 09:25 AM PST

Samsung Electronics has plans to roll out a new cell phone in the form of the SPH-W7100 that will tout safety features such as a ring-activated alarm. This will be the first model from Samsung that features the SOS function that relies on a ring instead of a button for ease-of-use, and will be marketed towards women and children so that their men can come rescue them in times of distress. There is nothing quite like a banshee-screaming alarm that is effective within a five-meter radius to attract attention during an emergency, whilst sending an SMS and location information (will it use GPS?) to pre-programmed numbers which are dialed automatically. Hopefully this function won’t be accidentally pressed and can be deactivated with ease lest you embroil yourself in a social faux pas with clumsy fingers.
